Still thinking about a red dot scope. Also need a single point sling (already put the mount on, so only some r&d and a lil $ needed) Is a tad on the heavy side, so not the best set up in a shtf on the run scenario.

Is that a Grip-Pod brand VFG?
how do you like it? how does it feel in the hand, and how sturdy does it feel as a bipod?

Feels a bit big in my hand ( have smallish hands, and being smooth plactic and small hands not to keen on it, will check out on range though) Is a MAKO brand, found simular at the gun show after I already had this one, a bit cheaper too. Got the guys site address, will post when find. It is sturdy as a bipod.

It looks like your rear backup iron sight is on backwards. It should flip up towards the barrel and down towards the stock.
For your red dot I would recommend a Aimpoint comp M4s...I would also recommend a Vickers 2 point sling unless you really have your heart set on a single point.
